The Round house - Fremantle, Western Australia
The Round House in Fremantle is the oldest standing building in Western Australia. It was orginally used as a gaol and is was the first permanent building in the colony. The council of Fremantle took control of the round house in 1982. The building was then available for the public to visit. Visitors are able to see this historic building seven days a week and there is a team of volunteer guides that are very informative.

The Round House can be found at 10 Arthur Head, Fremantle. Opening hours are 10:30am - 3:30pm
