Perth Zoo - South Perth, Western Australia
Perth Zoo is home to over 1300 animals representing 200 different species. The scenic gardens are a pleasure to walk through and the naturalistic exhibits closely replicate the animals' native habitats. Visit Tricia the Elecphant who has been with the zoo for decades and is now over 50 years old. The nocturnil house is also a must-see. It is located in South Perth which is only 5 minutes from the Perth CBD and is open every day of the year from 9am to 5pm.
