Il lido is an Italian espresso bar and licensed restaurant opposite the main beach at Cottesloe. It is on the site of the old La Tropicana cafe. Seating is at communal tables although there is an alfreso area with nice views. The wine list is innovative and the  lights are fairly dimmed with candlelit tables for a romantic setting. Makes for a pleasant evening especially in the Perth summer.
